WHO WE ARE
MyKumi.com, operated by NOVA LX Limited (“MyKumi”, “we”, “us”, “our”). We sell and ship within the United States only. This Privacy Notice applies to U.S. residents.

 

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect identifiers (name, email, phone, billing and shipping address, IP address, device IDs); commercial information (products viewed, added, purchased, order history); internet or network activity (pages viewed, clicks, cookies and pixels, approximate location from IP); payment information (method and transaction details processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers); account information (login and password if you create an account); inferences (basic preferences drawn from browsing or purchase activity).
Sources: you (checkout, support, account), automatic collection via cookies and similar technologies, and service providers or partners (for example payment processors and analytics or advertising tools) acting on our behalf.

 

HOW WE USE INFORMATION
To process and ship orders and provide customer support; prevent fraud; secure and debug our services; analyze and improve the site and show more relevant products and ads; meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

 

SALE OR SHARING FOR ADVERTISING AND YOUR OPT OUT RIGHTS
We do not sell personal information for money. We may “share” (as defined under California law) identifiers and internet or network activity with advertising and analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time via the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our footer. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and treat it as a valid opt out when detected. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16.

 

DISCLOSING INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES
We disclose personal information to service providers or processors (ecommerce platform, payment processors, shipping carriers, IT or cloud security, customer support); advertising and analytics partners (as described above, subject to your opt out); authorities or parties in a legal process when required by law; and in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition. Service providers must use data only to perform services for us and protect it appropriately.

 

DATA RETENTION
We keep information only as long as necessary. Orders and invoices are retained for legal and accounting requirements. Account data is kept while your account is active and thereafter as required by law. Marketing data is kept until you opt out or as otherwise required by law.

 

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on your state, you may have rights to access or know, correct, delete, opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, receive a portable copy of your data, and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
How to exercise your rights: email support@mykumi.com with the subject “Privacy Request” (or use our request form if available). We may need to verify your identity. You may use an authorized agent where allowed. We aim to respond within 45 days and may extend once where permitted. If we deny a request, you can appeal by replying “Appeal” to our decision email.

 

COOKIES AND TRACKING
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising. You can control cookies in your browser and through our cookie banner or settings. Using the GPC signal counts as an opt out of sale or sharing for California.

 

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

 

SECURITY
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption where appropriate, to help protect personal information. No system is 100 percent secure.

 

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
We primarily process data in the United States. If data is transferred to or accessed from outside the United States by our service providers, we take measures to help protect it.
